About Ka
KA is a land-based project designed for the activation of the light body through creativity, community and conservation. Founded by Momentom co-creators, Ka is an evolution from the nomadic artist residencies into a mature, grassroot land-based incubator for artists wanting to invest, train and live in regenerative harmony with nature .
The main pillars of KA
All project layout is designed with beauty, freedom and the elements abundance in mind. Ka is a unique space on earth: a bio-corridor between two national parks, an agro-forestry farm with a plethora of pure water, organic food, spaces to gather.
Arts
We believe art is both the revolution that will birth the renaissance of our times. We step outside and we replace museum walls with jungle canopies, birthing art in the sneakiest nooks of the jungle.
One foot at a time
One foot at a time conservation model is an accessible way for many people to steward one piece of land. Ka is dedicated to protecting the land we live on, and by donating as little as 10 dollars, those dollars will go directly to buying one foot of land here.
Community
They say that the future is built in community. For us, the future is now. Our co-living concept is a blend between individual minimalist pod homes where you can recharge in your own space and within silence in nature around you.
Soak up

One hour north of San Jose, Ka nestles a magical reality that balance artists, vanlifers and nature enthusiasts dream of: a highline park over a waterfall. As we encourage the experience of outdoor living, we are building a space for camping and in hammock pods near waterfalls where you can sleep in nature, where your gaze turns naturally toward the sky, where you can highline during the day and star gaze at night.

Every time you walk into a space, your awareness is impacted and shaped by the space you are in. For this reason, we team with Montreal’s constellation crew to design each small pod through sacred geometry, in open air concepts, and constellations so that you can be fully immersed in the jungle below your feet and in connection to the stellar world above your pillow.

& Milestones
All of our lives – We dreamed a dream of a regenerative community designed for artists by artists;
- 2022 We began gathering the dream team and creating a financial strategy. We are actively looking for land and aim to begin 2023.
- Now - We are interviewing retreats and projects able to commit to host retreats for 2 weeks - 1 month LOIs per year; apply here
- Now- we are gathering interest for in timekeeping for constellations; apply here
- 2023 - We are booking out Green Residencies with Momentom Collective 3 x a year to build out EcoArt museum, constellations and temple spaces
